Macunx VR demo on BBC Click

Macunx VR demo

By: Harriet Cook

This week our new product for building memory palaces in Virtual Reality, Macunx VR, was featured on BBC Click - a show focused on the latest developments in the tech world.

Lara Lewington, one of the programme's tech reporters, joined us at the University of Westminster two weeks ago to have a go at learning the conjugation of Spanish -ar verbs using our software.

She was able to remember all six regular - ar verb endings when she took the VR headset off and was left with some quite remarkable "VR hair"!

If you're in the UK and have a TV license, you can see our demo and how she got on here - let us know what you think and feel free to share on social media!

Many thanks to Markos Mentzelopoulos, Computer Science lecturer at Westminster, who has enthusiastically supported our project since May, and to Andrew, Westminster graduate, for all his hard work on getting this demo ready! Thanks also go to Jennifer who has been working on Macunx VR as a student project and was there to help us get the HTC Vive set up on demo day.
